These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the chat and SMS text-messaging support service offered by Fedora Outlier, LLC (“Fedora Outlier,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through the chat widget on fedoraoutlier.com. By starting a conversation through our chat widget, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

When you type a message into our website chat widget, it is relayed to a Fedora Outlier team member, who may reply to you by text message (SMS) in real time. This is a low-volume, conversational support line — we do not send marketing campaigns, and messages are sent only in direct response to a conversation you start.

Message Frequency & Fees

Message frequency varies based on your conversation. Across all visitors, we estimate approximately 20 conversations per month. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Fedora Outlier does not charge you for text replies; any carrier charges are your responsibility.

Opt-In & Opt-Out

By initiating a conversation through our website chat widget, you consent to receive a text reply from us related to that conversation. You may opt out of further messages at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us directly using the information below.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this service for any unlawful purpose, to harass our team, or to submit false or misleading information. We may decline to respond to messages that violate these Terms.

No Guarantee of Availability

Our chat-to-text support is provided by a small team on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee immediate or continuous availability, and messages may occasionally be delayed or undelivered due to factors outside our control (including carrier filtering).

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fedora Outlier, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this chat/SMS service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
